Verbatim 128mB SmartMedia Card 

Verbatim 128mB SmartMedia CardSmartMedia memory cards are the thinnest small form factor storage media available, and provides low cost, mobile data storage in a very small interchangeable format. Combining small size with simple architecture, Smartmedia consists of a single NAND flash electronically eraseable programmable ROM chip embedded in a thin plastic card. Shaped like a samll floppy disk, the SmartMedia measures 45mm*37mm*0.76mm. That is about 1/3 of the size of a credit card! The SmartMedia's data format standard, which is based on the ATA and DOS file standard , ensures interoperability and interchangeability among different applications and systems. It can be transported between digital systems including consumer and portable electronic devices, personal digital assiatants, digital cameras, pagers and other devices. After use the SmartMedia card can be inserted into one of the SmartMedia Adapters or SmartMedia card drives to enable it to be read by various devices.
